AIG Bonuses perfectly legal... but Geithner could go down

According to the AP, those bonuses paid to the execs at AIG "Were paid under legal contracts, part of a program that had been disclosed in advance filings that American International Group Inc. made with the government."
So, if the government knew all about these bonuses well before they were paid out, why all the hub bub now? Could it be that not a single congressional bozo was actually paying any attention? Let's see, who can we blame.... how about ... Geithner! Sure, why not, we can pull another Wall Street stooge into take his place. MORE
