Submitted by Robert Lindquist on Thu, 03/26/2009 - 6:22amThe national Nielsens are in, and it looks like The Barack Obama Tuesday Night Feel Good Hour suffered a substantial ratings decline compared with his two most recent heavily covered evening events. 40.4 million of us endured the punishing 60 minute lie, laff and gaff fest, that's a drop of 18% from his Feb. 9 press conference, and a 23% drop from his Feb. 24 address to Congress.

What More Bureaucracy Looks Like
Submitted by Robert Lindquist on Wed, 03/25/2009 - 2:59pmWARNING: This is just ridiculous. Watch as the Government Accountability Office testifies before Congress (Tom Price, Republican, Georgia) on a report of ineffective and inconsistent enforcement of the nation's wage and hour laws. It looks more like a scene from a Christopher Guest / Eugene Levy "Mockumentary." The Government Accountability Office? Accountable to whom for what? These guys sure don't seem to know.

Aside from a super-sized sell job (with help from "Tickles the Teleprompter") for his massive budget, there was little, if anything, substantial in the one-hour quest fest.

Submitted by Robert Lindquist on Tue, 03/24/2009 - 9:25amMore and more, it's appearing that Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is either lacks the skills needed to affect a true turn around of the economy, or he's just way in over his head and is getting little, if any, breathable air from the Obama administration. In either case, his credibility is falling like stocks during a sell-off.
