When my wife came home and told me about the audio clip she had heard on Rush, I really thought she had heard wrong. So, I checked it out. She was right.

Things are happening so fast and furiously in Washington, DC, that a body can barely keep up. As much as I used to love to poke fun at the do-nothing members of the House and Senate, I've now learned that it would have been better to let sleeping dogs lie.

With typical sarcastic arrogance and disdain for any American who sees things differently, President Obama celebrated his 100th day in office by attacking those of us who supported and attended that Tea Parties on April 15th.

Ever since a video of the POTUS bowing before Saudi King Abdullah made it's way to multiple YouTube locations, it's been a popular topic for discussion on talk radio shows and on blogs, comment boards and twitter. Last night, in an informal, unscientific review, the vast majority of the comments ran from mild disdain to total disgust at the site of an American President caught in such a subservient act.

Hop aboard as we take a digital field trip to Patrice Lewis' blog to read this provocative and alarming essay by Pat Dollard. Dollard states that "Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten to fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two."

The Washington Times reports that "Unlike President Bush's White House communications team, which usually timed press conferences abroad to coincide with the U.S. morning programs, the Obama operation kicked off the president's first day in Britain while most Americans were still asleep. I could have posted this yesterday but decided to wait a day to see if I was really outraged and to make sure I knew what I was talking about. This is a perfect example of how the Gov. works.

With the approval numbers of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and representative Barney Frank slipping, it's apparent that not all is well in Bozovia. At some point, Congress and The White House, is going to have to acknowledge the growing dissatisfaction on Main Street.

So far, over 1.1 million "pro-lifers" have pledged to send a red envelope to the White House as a symbolic gesture against the Obama administration's "pro-death" policies (including funding abortions, human stem cell research, and contraception). Let your voice be heard.

I've attempted to engage several friends and acquaintances today, seeking to gauge their interest/disinterest with the whole GM/Chrysler/Gov't fiasco. While I am extremely angered by what is obvious (at least to me) to be an unconstitutional move by the Obama administration to take over GM, most of the people I have spoken to don't seem to give a pinto's exploding patootie.
