Tax Day Tea Party, Corning, NY (pt.2)

Total population is about 10,000, but On Tax Day, April 15th, an estimated 1,000 residents from Corning and neighboring areas gathered downtown for a Tea Party to protest higher taxes, and runaway spending by elected officials in Albany (capital city of NY) and Washington D.C. The event attracted folks from all political leanings, backgrounds and lifestyles. Checking Out The Tea Party In Corning, NY

On April 15th, somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,000 angry taxpayers participated in the nationwide Tax Day Tea Party movement in downtown Corning NY. The event included music by "Grey Matter," and speeches by several locals effected by rising taxes and wasteful spending in Washington DC and in the NY State capital of Albany.
